SUMMARY:Online Stranded Colorwork
DESCRIPTION:In this group Zoom class you will learn to do two color knitting while creating a stranded colorwork hat\, using the hat pattern I will provide. You will learn to read a chart\, maintain tension\, keep colors consistent on the back\, and more. \nI will e-mail a link for the class the day before.  I have my iPad set up on a stand so that I can show you how to do things in real time.  If we haven’t corresponded recently\, I’ll send you a confirmation e-mail when you sign up\, to be sure I have your correct e-mail address. \nMaterials: Have three different colors of contrasting worsted weight yarn that go together well.  (This will be approximately 50 g of the main color  and 25 and 10 g of contrasting colors.)  Have appropriate needles for working the yarn: 16” circular or needles for your preferred method of circular knitting. \nHomework: You will cast on and knit circularly in 1 x 1 or 2 x 2 ribbing for 1¼ inches (3 or 4 and more yarn if you want to turn it up) on needles one size smaller than those you will use in the class  (CO numbers coming soon). \nThis class is currently full.  Please email me at edith@mossbrookfiberarts.com if you would like to be put on the waiting list.
