SUMMARY:Learn to Knit Mittens and Fingerless Mitts
DESCRIPTION:In this group Zoom class you will learn how to make mittens in the round.  I will provide a pattern\, with an option for fingerless mitts.  We’ll talk about different types of mittens and learn methods and tips. \nI will e-mail a link for the class the day before.  I have my iPad set up on a stand so that I can show you how to do things in real time.  If we haven’t corresponded recently\, I’ll send you a confirmation e-mail when you sign up\, to be sure I have your correct e-mail address. \nPrerequisites: Basic knitting skills and small circumference knitting \nMaterials: 100-150 g bulky yarn and needles to knit the yarn tightly\, at a 4 st/in gauge. \nHomework: Cast on 28 sts (for a woman’s medium) and knit in the round in 1 x 1 rib for 3″ for the cuff. \n
