SUMMARY:Online Pattern Adaptation
DESCRIPTION:“I love that hat pattern and this yarn.”  What do we do if the pattern is written for one weight yarn and the yarn we love is another weight?  In this class you will learn the basics of modifying patterns to work with the yarn you want to use.  We’ll talk about when it is likely to work well and when it’s  probably not a good idea.  And we’ll discuss which types of patterns are easy to adjust and which will take a bit of work and math.  All you will need to bring is a pencil and a notebook; a calculator might come in handy too.   If you would like\, you can also bring a pattern that you want to learn how to modify for a particular yarn—and a swatch in that yarn\, of course! \nPlease note that clicking the “add to cart” button will take you to the Yarn and Soul Website to check out. \n
