Beginner and Advanced Beginner Knitting
For those who have recently begun to knit, or those who are ready to start. We will take your next step together: learn the basic knit stitch, the purl stitch, cast on, bind off, increase, and decrease, or whatever you need. If you have a new project in mind, bring the pattern and we’ll look at it together. Bring the project you are working on or a smooth worsted weight yarn and size 7 or 8 needles. If you are buying needles for this class, I recommend wood or bamboo, either 10 inch straight needles, or 24 inch circulars. I also offer Learn to Knit kits to get you started with supplies. Beginning students are always welcome in my “Knit and Crochet with a Teacher” classes as well.
